CARS held their Annual Prize Giving and Christmas dinner on Saturday 25th November, at The Family
Treehouse in San Fernando.  Many of the years Solodex champions and  past champions were in attendance along with some of CARS valuable sponsors, all waiting in trepidation to hear who had finally won, as the results of Solodex 6 and the Overall shootout were a well guarded secret up to that point.

With an array of trophies and prizes generously sponsored by Castrol, Autonation, Motor City, Autosport,
Crism, EDC, Mileage Mack and Tracmac, and hampers by Castrol, Hand Arnold, and Micon Marketing,
the awards table was full to the brim. The resident MC for the night was Barry Mykoo who started off the proceedings, handing over to Summer Charles, wife of CARS very own Kerwyn Charles, who did a fantastic job of the National Anthem and prayer, it was then over to our President, Karen Pinheiro, for her speech. The awards ceremony started first with the Thanks yous to the sponsors for all the help and the giving of a small token of our appreciation to them, followed by the Presentation of the trophies to the winners of the Solodex 6 event, followed by the presentation to the winners in the Autonation Honda Mini Challenge Series which was won by

It was then onto the awards for the Overall Class champions, starting with the EDC sponsored Novice Class, the Motorcity sponsored GS class, HS class sponsored by Mileage Mack, ES Class sponsored by Crism, SS sponsored by Autosport, and finally EP class.

Finally we came to the 2006 Overall Solodex Champion. This year it was possible due to the kind offer of Trevor Fung and Asjmal Mustapha, and Alanna and her Almera. 7 drivers competed for the top dog position and they were Karl, Kerwyn, Ryan Ramsaran, Kirk , Ryan Pinheiro, Kevin  and Amir. All these drivers showed the reasons why they had all attained what they had in their respective classes, but there could only be one winner and on the 12th November, it happened to be Ryan MadCrix Ramsaran himself. Well done Ryan.
